FT Polk access changes for 2010.
You must stop at the visitor center and get a day pass before entering. The same requirements as last year apply, Valid ID and for your vehicle valid registration and proof of insurance.

You will notice we put a couple of the shoots on Saturday this year in a hope that more shooters will be able to participate.

The trail consists of 20 targets with a mix of Rhinehart and McKenzie targets. The shoot site is located on FT Polk (Army base) near Leesville, LA. To gain access to the base, you just need a valid drivers licence, proof of insurance and valid registration. IT IS THAT EASY!!!

Directions: From 171 turn east on Entrance road (Big brick FT Polk sign) continue through the security gate, continue straight to the first stop light after Burger King, Take a left, this will put you Texas ave. Continue straight. Make a right on California ave. (The FT Polk shooting complex sign) Entrance will be on your left.
From HWY 28 turn south on HWY 184. Go straight through the security gate (turns into Chaffee road) and continue straight. Turn left on Magazine road (FT Polk shooting complex sign). Continue across railroad tracks and veer right at the intersection.
Range is on the left.
